Creating an Image Prompt
AI makes it incredibly easy to create an image these days, and it’s possible to do so with just a simple prompt. I decided to create a blog on creating a New Year’s 2026 image.
Now, this is from scratch, with no image reference, just a written prompt. As uploading a reference image can yield much better results, the whole reason you are creating an image is often that you don’t have or can’t find one to start with.
Lets Start with a basic (First Attempt) prompt.
Prompt:
Create a landscape image 1581 X 506 pixels. The image is of Big Ben and the Houses of Commons, shot from the other side of the river, so that the buildings are reflected in the river. It is nighttime time and there are large bursts of New Year’s Eve Fireworks in the sky. In the windows of the Houses of Parliament are capitalised letters and number-shaped Lights, these spell ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026’
OK, so the first go is not bad at all, but then I am used to writing prompts and what I gave it was reasonably detailed.
However do have an issue with the reflected text in that it should be reversed and it is not correct so we need to try again.
Asking ChatGPT to write the prompt for you
If you are not used to writing prompts, you can ask ChatGPT to write the prompt for you. Just give it some basic instructions as to what you want and then ChatGPT will create the prompt.
So for Ease I will give it my original prompt as a starting point but ask for no reflection of the text. I am asking a lot here, as, there would be a reflection in real life. Reflections can be a bit iffy in ChatGPT and getting text correctyou would be better off using Kling AI, DALL-E or Midjourney as they currently render text better.
Prompt for ChatGPT to Write prompt:
Write a prompt for the following: Create a landscape image 1581 X 506 pixels. The image is of Big Ben and the Houses of Commons, shot from the other side of the river, so that the buildings are reflected in the river. The Result
So the result is similar, but it still has a reflection, but it is reversed, but not quite correct and missing a word.
BUT: I did use the prompt in the same chat window so what it has done is worked with and ammended the prvious image to make the required changes and unless you are making fineite chn ages that’s fine, but for this I should have used the prompt in a ‘NEW CHAT’

Now we have what we wanted, The image has the text, the layout is better and we just have a light reflection which is perfect
